Our hearts go out to all of those affected by COVID-19. We have been following closely the recommendations from federal and state officials. The health and wellness of our communities—especially those in the cancer community—are our top priorities. Given guidance from federal and state officials aimed to protect our wish recipients and donors, we are sad to communicate we will need to cancel the 2020 Bucket Bash. The Bucket Bash is our foundation’s primary fundraiser to support our mission throughout the year, but we take seriously the responsibility to do our part to slow the spread of this deadly virus.

Our Board, staff, and volunteers are working hard to figure out next steps and you will hear from us in the coming weeks about what’s next—especially as it pertains to those who planned to attend the 2020 Bucket Bash. While we work to select a date for our 2021 Bucket Bash, we are also looking into alternative ways to raise money so we can continue to grant wishes (albeit creative ones during these times) to those in need.

Your love and generosity for our wish recipients mean so much to Fill Your Bucket List Foundation, now more than ever. We know this is a challenging time with more changes every day. Since cancer does not take a break or pause for anything, even a global pandemic, please give as you are able to help sustain our long-term mission of creating lasting memories for adults with cancer and their loved ones.
