Great Wolf Lodge Adventure

April, a mom of six beautiful children, has battled breast cancer not once but twice. Her wish was to take her kids to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. She told us she wanted to make up for quality time lost with her children while she was sick from chemo.

 

In addition to enjoying their time at the indoor waterpark, she and her family did yoga, learned about animals, participated in story time, played arcade games, went on a MagiQuest, and more. April also had a relaxing massage at the spa.

April said, “Thank you all! We had an amazing time. We ate good, laughed even better, and really took the time to appreciate this opportunity! There's been a few times that I've just cried tears of joy, watching the kids play and enjoy themselves. We all fought that cancer battle. It wasn't just me. The kids were truly the real MVPs that kept me strong enough to fight the last 4 years.”
