NYC Christmas Spectacular

Donna, who is battling metastatic breast cancer, had just one Christmas wish: to return to New York City to show her daughter some of the fun holiday traditions she had growing up. Her wish came true last weekend when she visited the Big Apple with her family.

 

Donna, Eddie, and Isabelle enjoyed a jam-packed trip including the tree lighting at Bryant Park, meeting Santa at Macy’s, seeing the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, attending mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and eating all their favorites, especially real Chinese food.

 

When we asked Donna about her favorite part of her wish, she replied, “The look on my daughter’s face as she experienced the things that I did at her age. It was like I got to experience it all anew with her...You gave us memories that will last a lifetime.”
