Cherokee Retreat

When Monica and her husband Johnnie visited Cherokee in 2002, they dreamed of going back together. Unfortunately Johnnie was diagnosed with cancer and passed away before they had the opportunity. Monica was also diagnosed with cancer shortly after and her wish was to return to Cherokee so she could have a great story to tell her husband when they are reunited in Heaven.

 

Monica and her friend Dana enjoyed a long weekend at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort where the staff rolled out the red carpet for them, including top-notch service, a beautiful room, welcome gifts, fine dining, the most incredible seats at the ZZ Top Concert, and so much more. They also enjoyed horseback riding at the beautiful Stokemont Riding Stables.

 

Monica said, “Y’all made it way more than I ever dreamed of. Everything was really amazing. I have so much to tell Johnnie now.”
