Smoky Mountain Retreat and Train Tour, Gatlinburg, TN vicinity

Richard’s wish was to visit the Smoky Mountains with his wife, kids, and new granddaughter. He wanted to sit by a fire, play games, and maybe also ride a train! Richard and his family spent a few days in Gatlinburg, TN - in a donated condo with a fireplace and porch! They rode the Polar Express train through the Smokies, drove over to Pigeon Forge for a Country Tonite concert with dinner beforehand at Johnny Carino’s (they rolled out the red carpet at both places!), and visited downtown Gatlinburg. Richard and his beloved wife, Joyce, asked if as their souvenir they could bring home a Christmas tree.
