Fabulous Fiftieth Birthday Party

After a years-long battle with breast and lung cancer, Sabrena’s wish was simple - to celebrate her 50 years of life with her closest friends and family. She was nominated by her dear friend Van, a FYBLF Wish Recipient from 2016.
Sabrena’s Wish Creators, a Bible Study group from Hope Community Church, planned the whole evening including a candy bar, photo booth, delicious food, beautiful flowers and decorations, and a professional photographer to capture the precious memories from the event. There was also a bulletin board with pictures of Sabrena with her family and friends and a “blessings jar” for her friends to write their hopes and blessings for her. Her favorite gospel music played in the background.
Sabrena said, “My 50th birthday celebration was beyond AMAZING!! The ladies that coordinated the event were just precious and my family and friends truly enjoyed themselves. Thank you all for allowing me an opportunity to just sit back on be on the receiving end for a change. Nothing brings me more joy than to be able to give and do for others but what you all did for me that day was priceless.”
