Marie Duncan Otto

Executive Director

Marie joined the Foundation in March 2016 and is responsible for the daily operations and overall success of the organization. She has spent over 15 years in marketing and business operations management. She is passionate about the opportunity to serve others every day as the Foundation continues grow and reach more lives.

Marie graduated from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School and after college earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. Marie is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Raleigh and served on the Board of Directors of the Poe Health Center for six years.


A Cary native, Marie is an avid Tar Heel fan and loves to attend games in Chapel Hill. In her free time, Marie enjoys playing piano, traveling (especially anywhere French!), and serving as a small group leader in the Raleigh-based Monday Night Bible Study ministry. Marie and her beloved husband, Jason, reside in Raleigh and take every opportunity to spoil their two nieces and three nephews.

Marie's #1 bucket list item is to visit the Holy Land in Israel.

Caroline Farmer

Caroline Farmer

Community Engagement Coordinator

Joining the Foundation in October 2019, Caroline brought her talents in volunteer management and event planning. While working at Bethesda Softworks, she worked to strengthen the volunteer experience and improve engagement. She also had the privilege to work with multiple national wish-granting organizations to plan experiences for recipients.
 
Born and raised in Raleigh, Caroline grew up competing in Irish dance for 13 years and graduated from NC State University. A lover of dance, theatre, and all forms of art, Caroline and her husband, Robert, live in Raleigh with their two Siamese cats, Gatsby and Gimli.

 

Caroline's #1 bucket list item is to take a road trip across the United States.

Jenny Fowle

Jenny Fowle

Wish Program Manager

Starting as a volunteer, Jenny joined the Foundation in 2017. She quickly began getting more involved and added many roles, ultimately becoming the Wish Program Manager. Previously an elementary school teacher, Jenny is creative, passionate, and innovative.

 

Jenny is an NC State University alum and has lived in the Triangle since 2007, currently residing in Fuquay-Varina with her husband, son, and chocolate lab. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and volunteering at her son’s school and in her community.

Jenny's #1 and #2 bucket list items are to visit Italy with her family and to take her son to Disney.
